Factory Welding

Your vehicle was manufactured using a welding process known as Resistance Spot Welding. This process uses a high voltage electrical current, sent through high pressure electrodes placed on both sides of the weld area, to fuse the metals together.

Car-O-Liner

The Car-O-Liner CTR 12000 uses the same Resistance Spot Welding technologies used by your manufacturer. The on-board computer takes welding parameters from each specific auto manufacturer to ensure the proper voltage, weld time and pressure is applied. It also monitors and confirms that every completed weld meets the specified welding parameters.

Our Commitment to Safety

Many of today’s vehicles utilize high strength (HSS) ultra high strength steels (UHSS) that are critical in protecting you and your family in a crash. These steels must be welded using Resistance Spot Welding. While many shops do not have the equipment necessary to repair vehicles with these advanced metals, K & M Collision has made a commitment to safety by using state-of-the-art factory repair technologies that provide you and your family with the peace of mind that comes with a truly safe repair.
